Somerset born artist, Emma Duke, moved to her Crowcombe studio in 2017. Her love for foraging and nature is clear to see in her magical creations. If you see a figure, foraging along the Bristol channel, in the middle of winter with the rain pouring, it could well be Emma!
Emma's talents come from her heart and soul, with no actual art education, she has a nautural ability to turn wood and paint into breath-taking creations. She will always say her talents come from her blood line of talented relatives. Her father and grandfather both having been cabinet makers and furniture designers, with stone masons and blacksmiths to name but a few. Emma has carved a unique and truly inspiring way in to her creations.
